Studio 27 owner, Cheryl Harris, is a multi-talented performer and also a gifted teacher, instructing both children and adults in singing, acting, performance, creative movement and improvisation.

Working with agents, producers, choreographers all around the country and internationally, Cheryl has helped develop, manage, cast, and place talent into the entertainment industry.

Cheryl is also an international vocal coach with talent that spans the globe. Her approach to vocal training is her unique development approach that includes: proper breathing techniques and knowing your airflow as well as how to manipulate your air, muscle technique that not only enhances your sound but expands your range and more with specific , individual technique. Each client has a unique sound and uses a slightly different approach to maximize their vocal quality as an artist and performer. Cheryl individualizes her training technique to suit her clients needs and goals.

Cheryl has successfully run Studio 27, a talent development studio that has catapulted her client's careers in Music, TV/Film as well as the Fashion industry and has won "Best Talent Development School" for 10 years in a row which has Studio 27 listed in the "Business Hall Of Fame" in her market.

Simone Scigliano

Born in Naples, Italy, Simone is a highly skilled and versatile actor, fluent in both English and Italian. Known for his exceptional ability to master a variety of accents, Simone has portrayed a wide range of characters across multiple genres with remarkable authenticity and depth. His unique approach to each role, combined with his commitment to character development, has earned him numerous awards, underscoring his dedication and mastery of the craft.

In addition to his on-screen work, Simone is passionate about mentoring and coaching emerging actors, offering guidance to help them navigate the industry and hone their individual talents. Whether performing or shaping the next generation of
talent, Simone consistently delivers compelling and impactful work that resonates
deeply with audiences.

A SAG actor, Simone’s impressive credits include Homeland, The Walking Dead,
Swagger, and Townsend, among others.


Camila Miller

Camila is a professional actor in TV, Film and Theatre. She is also an accomplished dancer, writer and singer. Her love of performance took her to Georgia Sate University where she graduated with a bachelors degree in theatre performance and earned several acting, writing and choreography credits along the way. 

Camila has written and directed original works for Studio 27 and Georgia State University, including “Artscape” which was picked up by PBS Atlanta. She has also produced and directed multiple plays, and musicals. Camila continues to hone her craft as a coach and a performer both on stage and on camera. She has a passion for
working with students and allowing them to foster creativity and passion for the arts.


Sydney Elise Johnson

"Sydney Elise Johnson is a professional actress working in film, tv and theater. She is a graduate of Emerson College with a BFA in Acting and The National Theater Institute where a few of her theater credits include “Much Ado about Nothing”, “End Game" and Hamlet”. After studying Shakespeare at The Globe in London, she moved to New York City where she continued training at various studios and intensives and began working professionally. Some of her TV credits include The Equalizer (CBS), Law and Order SVU (NBC), Run The World (STARZ) and Running out of Time (BET). She can be seen in the EFM/MPX movie, Things Like This premiering in 2025 as well as her recurring role on The Equalizer.

Sydney has also directed and produced plays for the Eugene O’Neill Theater and Cambridge Camping Association."


Josie Juliette Wert

Josie Juliette Wert is a professional actress, dancer, and trained vocalist based in Atlanta,GA. Josie has been in the performing arts since age six and has trained from coast to coast with companies such as Broadway Artist Alliance (NYC), The Actors Lab (LA), The Cullen Douglas Class (LA), and various studios around Atlanta. After a brief time studying Acting and Directing at Baldwin Wallace University, Josie went on academic leave due to a series regular booking on No Rest for the Wicked, which was distributed on Amazon Prime.

Since then she has accumulated credits (including but not limited to); a leading role on Graceball [PBS], leading role on My Sisters Secrets [Lifetime], and the lead role of Sugarcane [SAG-AFTRA]. Other honorable mentions include If Only [Cannes International Film Festival] and Happy People [Amazon Prime]. She won an audience choice award for her performance as "Annie" in the short film, Host [Postmortem Films]. She is experienced in commercial work and has over 5 years of professional acting coaching experience.

Her multifaceted skill set and training combined with being a current working actor brings a unique perspective to her classes. She values the craft and strives to empower students to utilize their individuality as an art form.


Jason Burkey

Actor/Private Coach

Jason has been steadily working in film and television for more than a decade. He’s most known for his television roles in HULU’s Golden Globe nominated miniseries, Dopesick; the Emmy and Golden Globe winning series, Atlanta, NBC’s Ordinary Joe; AMC’s The Walking Dead, and FOX’s The Resident, to name a few.

Jason’s career began in feature films with a lead role in the surprise hit, October Baby, which was honored as one of Entertainment Weekly’s “15 Most Impressive Box Office Performances of 2012”. This led to his roles in People’s Choice nominated, I Can Only Imagine, Disney’s Lady and The Tramp, and The Art of Self-Defense, opposite Jesse Eisenberg.
